Ruldae reveals FORM, a digital entity that keeps growing after the game closes
The real-time simulation's demo is planned for October 5, 2026, ahead of Steam Next Fest and its full November release.
Independent game studio Ruldae is developing FORM, a mysterious digital entity cultivation game coming to Steam for Windows PC.
Something has appeared on the player's desktop. It cannot simply be deleted, and once it wakes, it does not stop. In the full game, FORM keeps living and changing in real time whether the game is open or closed.
The experience takes place inside RAELOS, a simulated operating system with its own desktop, files, applications, messages and activities. Players feed and observe FORM while investigating the environment around it. Time away matters: returning after an absence can reveal a different entity and new traces across the system.
FORM is designed as a standalone experience. Its story is communicated through the entity's behavior, changes in the operating system and the material players uncover for themselves.
A playable demo is planned for October 5, 2026, ahead of FORM's Steam Next Fest participation from October 19–26. The demo covers the SEED, SPROUT and PULSE stages and progresses only while the game is open. The full game releases for Windows PC on Steam on November 19, 2026.
